These Yokai (Japanease Spooks, Spirits or Ghosts) are sculpted in heavy vinyl and  were produced to be more like Netsuke than any other series.  This is the Kamaitachi a weasel that haunts the mountains with sickle like paws that slash at wanderers in the mountains. Netsuke can also be refered to as a "Toggle" and were used in place of buttons or for closures on bags or pockets. Each netsuke comes with a colored cord which can be used to hang the netsuke. This series  by Furuta is long OUT of Production and hard to find. Each figure stands approx. 1 inch tall.  They can be used as Netsuke or they can sit menacingly on a shelf or computer.  LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE.
