1st Godzilla Figure Ever from Bandai 1983 Very Rare

$175.00

In 1983 Bandai Co. of Japan purchased POPY Co. of Japan and began producing toys.  The FIRST EVER GODZILLA FIGURE they produced was the RUBBER GODZILLA  figure. The figure had a wire frame under the rubber sculpt of Godzilla. This figure is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND EVEN IN JAPAN! The figure stands approx. 6 inches tall and is approx. 5 inches long.  We have been HUNTING GODZILLA all over Japan for many years and we have only seen three of these figures TOTAL! What is even more impressive is THIS FIGURE IS Near MINT IN Excellent BOX!! The back of the box has the old Computer number that Bandai used for their early toys. Most people think that the Godzilla 1962 8 inch vinyl sculpt or the Great Monster Series Godzilla 1984 were the first Bandai Godzillas, but this little beauty was produced in early 1983!  Because it is made of flexible rubber over a wire frame, it is not articulated. THIS WOULD MAKE AN IMPRESSIVE ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.

CLAWMARK TOYS WARNING;  COLLECTING RARE GODZILLA FIGURES COULD BE HABIT FORMING.
