Kaiyodo Yokai Series 1 Evil Mermaid B and W Version

This Yokai Series  # 1 was produced by Kaiyodo Co. of Japan in the year 2000. They are OUT OF PRODUCTION and almost IMPOSSIBLE to find!! This is a Japanese Mermaid sometimes called a Ningyo. This series was produced in 3 versions, Painted, Unpainted (black & grayish white ) and Glow-in the Dark (milky white vinyl).

Each figure comes unassembled but they fit together easily. The figures stand approximately 3-4 inches high and are beautifully rendered in heavy vinyl. The unpainted versions can be easily painted giving you the opportunity to customize the figure. Each yokai comes in a bag with its paper insert which contains illustrations of the Yokai and the story in which it appears (in Japanese).  No sets are available – only single figures.  We have a VERY LIMITED QUANTITY AVAILABLE.
